Our care
Concussion & TMJ Therapy
Structured concussion recovery and treatment for jaw pain and clenching-related headaches.
Concussion recovery benefits from structure. We assess symptoms and tolerance, then guide a graded return to activity so you increase load at a pace your recovery can sustain — rather than either resting indefinitely or pushing through and stalling progress.
TMJ (temporomandibular joint) problems produce jaw pain, clicking, difficulty chewing and headaches that are frequently mistaken for something else. Treatment combines manual therapy to the jaw and surrounding musculature with targeted massage and, where useful, acupuncture.
Neck involvement is assessed in both cases — the upper cervical spine is very often part of the picture with both post-concussion symptoms and jaw pain.
